Avatar Begins Site Development for the Isles of Bellalago

Avatar Properties Inc. has begun site development for the Isles of Bellalago, a 345-acre master-planned community on Pleasant Hill Road, opposite its highly successful community of Bellalago.

The Isles of Bellalago is planned for approximately 536 Mediterranean-style single-family homes in several neighborhoods, most of which are planned to be accessed by a bridge spanning water to give the illusion of driving onto a island.

“We’re planning to carry over the architectural vernacular from Bellalago to maintain continuity in the character and visual appearance of the community,” said Avatar’s Michael Manning, sales manager at Bellalago.

A gated main entry, to be located directly across Pleasant Hill Road from the south entrance to Bellalago, is planned to include fountains and decorative arbors, along with lush landscaping and lakes bordering the main boulevard.

Like Bellalago, water will be the main theme at the Isles of Bellalago with a number of lakes planned throughout the community. Also planned is a community amenity complex with clubhouse, fitness center, junior Olympic pool, heated spa, children’s water park and tot lot. Other planned amenities include a number of wooded passive parks and a network of walking and biking paths.

The site for the first of three phases of development, planned for 74 homes, is expected to be complete this summer. Six plans from Bellalago’s popular Terra Series will be available in the Isles at prices from the mid-$200s, including homesite. Pre-construction sales are underway and are being conducted from the Bellalago sales and information center.
